2nd phase of the Apprenticeship selection process successfully held on June 18, 2016 at DIU Permanent Campus, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka. Honorable chairman Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, honorable Vice Chairman Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, honorable Director of permanent campus Dr. Mustafa Kamal, others faculty members and about 50 apprentices were present there. That was a day long process and at the end of the day, they all attended in a IFTAR MAHFIL organized by Younus Khan Scholar's Garden Canteen where all expenses were been provided by University.

Free Course in BASIS and build your career in well-known IT firms in Bangladesh

Its a good news for all that BASIS, through Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) will to train up 23,000 over the contract period of 3 years. 5000, 9000 and 9000 trainees will be trained in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively. BASIS institute of Technology & Management (BITM) is planning to proposed twelve courses for new entrants and two courses for up skilling programs under this SEIP project.

2. The minimum qualification to get enrolled in this program is Graduation or Diploma in Engineering depending on the training course.
3. One trainee can do only one training program under this project.
4. Each trainee will be given BDT 3,120 per month as training allowance. But to get this benefit, trainee must ensure attendance at least 80% of total classes conducted and abide by all the rules and regulation of the BITM
5. Certainty of Job placement.

The largest IFTAR & DUA MAHFIL in the history of Daffodil, held @ Younus Khan Scholar's Garden Canteen (DIU-PC)

The largest IFTAR & DUA MAHFIL in the history of Daffodil, held at Younus Khan Scholar's Garden Canteen, Daffodil International University Permanent Campus today. In this IFTAR MAHFIL, University honorable Chairman Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, honorable Vice Chairman Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, honorable Director of permanent campus Dr. Mustafa Kamal, Deputy Register of permanent campus ABM Kamal Pasha, many of the faculty members from Permanent, Sukrabad and Uttara campus and near about 200 students were present.
University Chairman shared a short speech before IFTAR starts. He announced, University authority has taken a decision to start a new course for the students who are staying in DIU hostel (male & female) to ensure their job after graduation at a salary of at least 25K taka. All expenses of that IFTAR MAHFIL was been provided by the University and Younus Khan Scholar's Garden Canteen management served and distributed IFTAR hand to hand to make the MAHFIL successful.
